So, whether you have an unused workout or you saved one accidentally, it is possible to delete your workout on the Apple Watch.

    Deleting the workout will not affect the activity rings and you will not lose track of your workout. However, unlike adding a workout, deleting isn’t that easy. But still, it is possible, and there are two ways to delete a workout on your Apple Watch.

    How to Delete a Workout on Apple Watch using Fitness App

    You cannot delete a workout on the Apple Watch directly. However, if you have already set up and paired your Apple Watch with your iPhone, the workout data will be saved to the Fitness or Activity app. So you can delete the workout data easily through the app.

    Quick Guide: Open Fitness app → tap Show More → Swipe left → Hit Delete → select Delete Workout & Data or Delete Workout Only option.

    [2]. Tap the Show More option next to the Workouts section. You can able to see the workouts, which are sorted by date and by type.

    • Delete Workout & Data: It will delete both the workout history and the data stored in the Fitness app.
    • Delete Workout Only: It will only delete the workout history, and the data will remain in the app.
    • Cancel: To Cancel the process.
    select Delete Workout & Data or Delete Workout Only option.

    That’s it. You have deleted the workout on your Apple Watch.

    Alternative Way: How to Delete a Workout on Apple Watch using Health App

    The Health app is an alternative way to delete a Workout on your Apple Watch. With this app, you can edit the workout. It will automatically track the steps when you walk and track the distance when you travel. If you would like to delete the workouts, then follow the step-by-step guidelines given below.

    Quick Guide: Open Health app → tap Show All Health Data → select workouts → click Show All Data → swipe left → select Delete Workout & Data or the Delete Workout Only option.

    [1]. Launch the Health app on your iPhone.

    [2]. Tap Show All Health Data under the Summary tab.

    [3]. Scroll down and select Workouts.

    [4]. Again scroll down and click Show All Data.

    Using Health App

    [5]. Your workout history is listed on the screen. Tap on the time to check the workout type and then select it to delete from your Apple Watch. Tap Back to go to the previous screen.

    These are the two methods by which you can easily delete your workouts on your Apple watch. After deleting it, you can start the fresh records of your daily workout. By removing the accidentally started workout on Apple Watch, you can better keep track of your health. You can calibrate Apple Watch to improve your running, walking, exercise, and calorie intake.
