Copy command creates a duplicate copy of the selected content, and it is kept in the temporary storage called Clipboard.     You can also use Trackpad, which is also called a Touchpad to copy and paste on Mac. If you have MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, you can follow the below steps.

    [1] Select the text that you want to copy by pressing Trackpad and drag the cursor around the text area.

    [2] Use two-finger on the Trackpad to bring up the drop-down menu.

    [3] To proceed, click Copy.

    [4] Now open the program or app to paste your copied items.

    [5] Using the Two-fingers, click on your Trackpad and click the Paste option.
