    How to Change Siri Voice on iPhone, iPad, & Mac [Guide]

    Siri, Apple’s own voice assistant, is now available in different voices for iOS devices with an iOS 14.5. It is the most popular voice assistant in the modern world of iOS technology. The default voice of Siri is a female voice that most of us are quite familiar with. In iOS 14.5, Apple introduced two new Siri voices that are available in English and came up with a setup selection option that lets users choose their preferred ‌‌Siri‌‌ voice in the United States. With this, you should know how to change Siri voice on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

    According to Apple, the new version of Siri has a more natural tone and repertoire that sounds more human than ever. Apple says that the new voices add more speech sound and pattern diversity and run voice recordings through Apple’s Neural Engine to generate more organic phrases on the fly compared to the previous version. With the latest software on iOS devices, you can change ‌Siri’s voice.

    How to Change Siri Voice on iPhone & iPad

    1. Open the Settings App on your iOS device. This feature is available for both iPhones and iPads.

    2. From the Settings menu, tap Siri & Search option.

    3. Go ahead to choose Siri Voice.

    4. You will be presented with a Menu called Variety (Previously known as Accents). Select the variety that suits you the most.

    Note: The voices are available in American, Australian, British, Indian, Irish, and South African accents.

    5. From the Voice menu below, choose the Voice that you like the most.

    Note: American Variety has four available voice options for you to choose from. In contrast, all the other varieties like Australian, British, Indian, Irish, and South African have only two available options.

    Once you select a voice, the same will start to download from the Apple servers. A checkmark appears as soon as the download process is complete. Enjoy the ever-amazing Siri assistant in your preferred voice and accent.

    Note: You can follow the same procedure to change Siri’s voice on iOS 15.

    Bonus: How to Change Siri Voice on Mac

    You get the option to customize the Siri voice with macOS Sierra and later.

    1. Select the Apple menu and choose System Preferences on Mac PC.

    2. Choose Siri on the screen that appears.

    3. Now, select Siri Voice among the options.

    FYI: watchOS uses the same voice while using Siri as that of your paired iPhone.
